How to get here and to travel around

By bus, train, taxi, car or plane:
organise your trips to and within Alta Badia

Thanks to its central geographical position in the heart of Europe and its proximity to the main traffic arteries from north to south, Alta Badia is easy to reach. You can arrive in Alta Badia comfortably by bus, taxi or by your own car.

If travelling by train, the nearest railway station is Brunico, just about 30 km away and conveniently connected by public bus service several times a day.

If travelling by plane, the nearest airports are Bolzano, Verona, Venice, Treviso, Innsbruck (Austria) and Munich (Germany).

Arriving by car

Thanks to its proximity to the main transport routes, Alta Badia is easy to reach by car. Coming from the north, take the Brenner / Brennero highway.

Please note that Alta Badia is situated at an altitude of 1160-1650 metres. Winter can bring heavy snowfalls. The roads are cleared very efficiently, but don’t forget to travel with snow tyres and chains on board.

Arriving by bus

It is easy to travel around by public bus transport in South Tyrol. Several buses run between Alta Badia and the main travelling hubs, such as railway stations.
